• tell your doctor if you have or have ever had low cholesterol, low levels of magnesium in your blood, liver disease, or any condition that makes it difficult for your body to absorb nutrients

• tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding

Additional precautions:

• if you are taking sirolimus (Rapamune), make sure that you take it at least 4 hours after you take Cyclosporine Modified

• Avoid drinking grapefruit juice or eating grapefruit while taking Cyclosporine Modified.

• Talk to your doctor before having any vaccinations while using this medication.

• This drug may cause extra tissue growth in your gums. Be sure you brush your teeth regularly and carefully and that you see a dentist regularly during your treatment with this drug.

• headache

• diarrhea, gas, or cramps

• heartburn

• increased hair growth on the face, arms, or back

• growth of extra tissue on the gums

• acne

• tremors

• burning or tingling in the hands, arms, feet, or legs

• muscle pain or joint pain

• flushing or pain or pressure in the face

• ear problems

• breast enlargement in men

• depression
