How do I use Istalol?

Istalol eye drops are usually applied to the eyes once a day. However, your exact dosage will depend on your condition, so follow your doctor’s instructions carefully. Close your eye and place one finger over the inside corner of the eye for about a minute to keep any liquid from leaking out. If you miss a dose of Istalol, apply the eye drops as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your normal dosage schedule. Do not apply more eye drops than you normally would for a single dose.

How do I store Istalol?

When not using Istalol, make sure the cap is tightly closed on the bottle. Keep the bottle out of reach of any children or pets in your home. Do not store it in the bathroom, as heat and moisture can negatively affect the medication. What happens if I overdose on Istalol?

Warnings

If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Istalol, and wait for at least fifteen minutes after the application before putting them back in.
