What if I forgot to use a dose of Maxalt?

Maxalt may be taken as needed. If you are on a dosing schedule for this drug, take your missed dose of Maxalt as soon as your remember to take it, unless it is almost time for the next dose. If this is the case, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dose schedule. Do not take two doses at once.

• Do not take rizatriptan if you are taking a monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A) inhibitor.
