What is Fulyzaq?
Fulyzaq is in the anti-diarrheal drug class. It’s currently the only anti-diarrheal on the market that has specifically been formulated for use in adults with HIV/AIDS. It is only used to treat non-infectious diarrhea (diarrhea that isn’t caused by a viral or bacterial infection), and it will not treat HIV or AIDS.
How do I take Fulyzaq?
Take Fulyzaq exactly as directed by your doctor. Always swallow tablets whole; do not chew, crush, or break them.
Before taking Fulyzaq, tell your doctor if:
- You are allergic to crofelemer or any other ingredients in the Fulyzaq drug
- You have any other allergies
- You are taking any other prescription or non-prescription medicines or supplements
- You have any symptoms of an infection, such as vomiting
- You are breastfeeding or pregnant
What are the possible side effects of taking Fulyzaq?

How do I store Fulyzaq?
