What is Monurol?
Monurol contains an antibiotic called fosfomycin and is used to treat bacterial urinary tract infections in women. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. It is not effective in treating fungal or viral infections, and it should not be used to treat any infections outside of the bladder.
How do I take Monurol?
Mix a single packet of Monurol powder with at least 4 ounces of water and drink immediately, with or without food. You should notice your UTI symptoms improving in two to three days; if you do not, contact your doctor.
