What is Flexeril?

The flexeril drug is an effective treatment to stabilize injured or strained muscles, reducing or eliminating spasms which can lead to further damage. You should seek emergency help if you begin to experience an allergic reaction, such as hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. You should stop using flexeril and call your doctor immediately if, after taking flexeril, you experience fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeats; chest pain or a heavy feeling in your chest, pain spreading to your arms or shoulder, nausea, sweating, sudden numbness or weakness, a sudden headache, confusion or hallucinations, or just a general feeling of unwell. Other less severe side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, or general tiredness.

What if I forget to take a dose of flexeril?

If you miss a dose of flexeril, take it as soon as you remember, unless you are close to the time for the next dose. If you are close to the scheduled next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your prescribed dosing schedule. Do not double your dose to catch up.

How do I store Flexeril?

Flexeril should be stored in the tightly-closed container in which it came. It should be kept out of the reach of children and maintained at room temperature, away from excess heat, moisture or cold. You should not store flexeril medicines in the bathroom or any place where heat and moisture can reach it.

What happens if I overdose on Flexeril?

Symptoms of a potential overdose of flexeril pills include fast or irregular heartbeat, fainting, severe drowsiness, slurred speech, seizures, mood changes such as confusion or hallucinations.
