This medicine is an extract of green tea leaves used to treat certain types of external genital or perianal warts.
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. An additional patient information leaflet is available with this medicine. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this information. WASH YOUR HANDS immediately before and after using this medicine. GENTLY APPLY A SMALL AMOUNT of this medicine to each wart using the tips of your fingers. Completely cover each wart being treated, leaving a thin film of medicine on the wart. Be careful not to get this medicine in the vagina or the anus. DO NOT APPLY THIS MEDICINE to open sores or broken skin. DO NOT BANDAGE, cover, or wrap the treated area; however, you may wear loose-fitting undergarments. DO NOT WASH THIS MEDICINE OFF before you apply your next dose. If you will be taking a shower or bath, apply this medicine afterwards. UNCIRCUMCISED MEN with warts under the foreskin should pull back the foreskin and clean the area every day. STORE THIS MEDICINE in the refrigerator between 36 and 46 degrees F (2 and 8 degrees C). Do not freeze. You may also store it at room temperature up to 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Be sure the cap on the tube is tightly closed. Store away from heat and light. Do NOT use this medicine after the expiration date on the tube. USE THIS MEDICINE ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE to get the most benefit from it. Using it at the same times each day will help you remember to use it. CONTINUE USING THIS MEDICINE until all of your genital or perianal warts have gone away unless your doctor tells you otherwise. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once.
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. DO NOT START OR STOP any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, including warts inside the cervix, vagina, or anus; weakened immune system (such as HIV infection); open wounds or broken or irritated skin in the treatment area; allergies; pregnancy; or breast-feeding. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR if you are using other products on the treatment area. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about taking this medicine.
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while using this medicine include burning, flaking, itching, pain, redness, scaling, or swelling at the application site. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience blisters, ulcers, sores, or other severe irritation at the application site; difficult or painful urination; groin or pelvic pain, swelling, or tenderness; or unusual discharge or bleeding. AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO THIS MEDICINE IS UNLIKELY, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, severe or persistent itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. IF YOU SUSPECT YOU HAVE USED TOO MUCH of this medicine, contact your doctor or seek medical advice right away. THIS MEDICINE MAY BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. If you or someone you know may have taken this medicine by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
DO NOT SHARE THIS MEDICINE with others for whom it was not prescribed. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE for other health conditions. KEEP THIS MEDICINE out of the reach of children.
