What is Vexol?
Vexol is a prescription eye drop medication that helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and redness caused by surgery, injury, or uveitis. The active agent in Vexol, rimexolone, is a corticosteroid that works by targeting and suppressing naturally occurring chemicals that cause an inflammatory response to injury or infections. How do I take Vexol?
Your doctor will provide specific instructions on how to apply Vexol based on your condition. To treat inflammation, apply 1 eye drop in the affected eye 4 times a day. Do not rub or touch your eyes as it may cause infections.
