What is Zyvox?

Zyvox contains a synthetically-derived antibiotic called linezolid which can only be used to treat infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria. Signs of Zyvox drug overdose may include tremors, seizures and lack of coordination. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, seek medical attention at once.

Warnings

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Zyvox. Foods or beverages that contain tyramine should be avoided. These include pickled, smoked and fermented foods such as beer, wine, salami and cold cuts, sauerkraut and more. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about this.
