What is Harvoni?

Harvoni is a new specialty drug that is used to treat and cure hepatitis C. Harvoni contains two antiviral medications called ledipasvir and sofosbuvir. What if I forget to take a dose of Harvoni?

Because Harvoni is a new drug, there isn’t much information available on overdose. Overdose on antivirals can cause a slow heart rate, delirium and seizures. These effects can be delayed for as many as 36 hours after overdose. If anyone has overdosed on Harvoni, they should be monitored in a hospital setting.
